Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. Philippian 4:6-7
A Holy Crisis
The Chinese use two picture characters to denote Crisis.
The picture-word danger is placed next to the picture-word opportunity.
So, dangerous opportunities could be a way to define a Crisis.
In every Crisis, the threat always seems more significant than the opportunity.
Our flesh is wired to focus on danger, and we often use our God-given creativity to envision an outcome we don't want.
Creating an outcome we don't want is an excellent definition of worry.
Do not deny the danger.
Face it, and then ask God to infuse you with the courage to do the next right thing.
A crisis is always an opportunity to allow God to do something in you and through you to prove Himself as God, thus teaching you further dependence upon Him.
Great opportunities live in the danger of each Crisis you face.
Seize the opportunity to grow and bear fruit.
How do you usually face a Crisis?
In what ways could you see bringing God glory in every Crisis?
Lord, may we be transformed by renewing our minds to prove Your good and perfect will. Amen
