An Eternal Weight of Glory

Having an eternal worldview is a life-giving perspective.

For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor, and an endless blessedness]! 2 Corinthians 4:17

Our worldview can make a transformational difference in our response to trials and tribulations.

Having an eternal worldview is a life-giving perspective.

My first thought is to tell you to take heart, for God knows what He is doing.

A second thought is that God doesn't waste pain in our lives....but we can!

So, regardless of our circumstances, our response is to turn to Him and allow Him to complete whatever He desires to do within us.

Always be pliable and allow Him to work in you to work back out of you His glory.

What we are going through isn't ultimately for us but for Him.

How do you respond when people or circumstances are painful?

Describe a time when something painful at the time produced joy later.

What would you tell the younger you about the trials you are facing now?

Lord, continue to lead us to see Your purpose and trust Your heart regardless of our circumstances. Amen
