Awakened to His Presence
Taste His goodness, hear His voice, see His beauty—He invites all of you to know all of Him.
God is good. Not just in what He does, but in who He is—love itself (1 John 4:8). And this God, Who is agape love, has placed His Spirit within our renewed spirit so we can know Him, enjoy Him, and experience the fullness of life in Him.
Scripture shows us that our connection with Him is not limited to intellect or duty—it’s relational, vibrant, and full of sensory invitations:
Hearing – “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
Seeing – “Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your law” (Psalm 119:18).
Tasting – “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
Touching – “If I only touch His cloak, I will be healed” (Matthew 9:21).
Smelling – “We are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ” (2 Corinthians 2:15).
These aren’t just poetic expressions. They are invitations to encounter Him with the whole of who we are. To hear His voice in Scripture and in the Spirit’s whispers. To see His beauty in creation and His faithfulness in our lives. To taste His goodness when we trust Him in uncertainty. To touch His presence in worship, prayer, and the ministry of others. To carry the fragrance of His love into the lives of everyone we meet.
The God who made you is not far off. He is here—present, speaking, revealing, comforting, and loving. All of you, every part of you, was designed to know all of Him.
