Crunched For Time?
Who’s really in charge?
The Pressure We Feel
Have you ever felt like there just isn’t enough time?
Not enough to finish.
Not enough to catch up.
Not enough to do what matters most.
And quietly, pressure begins to build.
We start managing, squeezing, striving—trying to make time behave.
As if it all belongs to us.
A Different Starting Point
But what if the time you’ve been given… isn’t yours to control?
“The times are in Your hands.” — Psalm 31:15
That doesn’t take responsibility away.
It gives something better—relief.
Because if time is held by Him, then you are not behind.
You are being led.
Enough for What Matters
It’s true—you don’t have enough time to do everything you want.
But what if you already have enough for what matters most?
“For we are His workmanship… created… for good works, which God prepared beforehand.” — Ephesians 2:10
Not everything, but the right things.
The ones He has already prepared.
The life you’re meant to live is not something you have to force.
It’s something you are being invited into.
Yielding Instead of Striving
What if the shift isn’t managing time better but yielding it?
Not giving up responsibility—but releasing control.
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12
Wisdom doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from walking with the One who already knows what matters.
Living from Freedom
You are not responsible for everything.
You are invited into something.
And when you yield your time to its rightful place, something settles.
Not urgency.
Not fear.
But a quiet freedom.
Enough time for what Love has prepared.
Reflection
Where do I feel pressure around time right now?
What would it look like to trust that my time is held, not managed alone?
What is one thing today that feels aligned with what God is inviting me into?
Prayer
Abba Father, my time is in Your hands. Lead me into what You have prepared, and free me from what You have not. Teach me to live with You, not ahead of You. Amen.
