Every And Already
If every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us, why do we often live as though we are bankrupt?
Why do we often live a life of "Just getting by, brother" instead of being salt and light to all we meet?
Most likely because we don't believe it, we have learned to live from earth to heaven instead of heaven to earth.
Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things. Colossian 3:1-2
There's an old saying in Christian circles, "Don't be so heavenly minded you are of no earthly good."
Nothing could be further from the truth unless you are biding your time until you can slide into heaven!
For to be heavenly-minded means to have the mind of Christ.
Christ allows us to see everything for its redemptive value and restorative purpose!
Being heavenly-minded allows us to pay forward every spiritual blessing already in our possession for His glory.
Ask Holy Spirit to awaken you to His life within you. He will.
How am I living by my experiences instead of Your promises?
How am I living by sight and sound instead of His light and whispers?
Lord, we know there is so much more than what we see, experience, or walk in during our journey. We believe, but help our unbelief! Amen
