So, from now on, we refuse to evaluate people merely by their outward appearances. That’s how we once viewed the Anointed One, but we no longer see him with limited human insight. II Corinthians 5:16
I See You Beautiful
"Anyone can count the seeds in an apple; only God can count the apples in a seed." Robert Schuller
Recently, I met with the director of Evansville Christian Life Center. A sticker on her coffee mug read, "I see your potential."
I wonder what God sees when He sees us?
Doesn't He see His beauty?
Doesn't He see His image brought to life by the Holy Spirit?
Doesn't He see the things He desires and has designed for us?
Yes.
How we see ourselves and others is one of the best indicators of how we see our Father.
May we see each other beautiful.
Who does God say you are?
Who does God say I am?
Who does God say we are?
Lord, give us Your heart that we may see others eternal. May we see beauty where we once saw ashes. May we exchange our judgment for mercy. May we give You away to all we meet. Amen
