We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it! Ephesians 2:10 TPT
For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10 NLT
Listen To The Right Voice.
The critical voice says, "You're a piece of work."
God says, "You're my Masterpiece."
I've had numerous conversations through the years with Christians who have an ongoing internal dialogue of condemnation.
Here are a few questions I will ask them:
Are these thoughts and conversations edifying to you or building up others?
Are there accusations or regrets about what you could've, should've, or would've done if you had another chance?
Are these words that you would say to an innocent child?
Unless they are words that affirm who God says you are as His child, then they are probably from the accuser of the saints, satan.
And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. (Revelation 12:10)
Don't let the enemy, who hates the very image of God he sees in you, rob you of your joy, God's desires, and your destiny by believing what he says!
Jesus said, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
Any other voice but His is lying to you.
You are His Masterpiece!
What are the "good works" Paul is referring to?
When Jesus said we would do even greater works than He did, what could they be?
Could the greater works be...love?
Lord, may we see your artistry in ourselves and others! May we consistently encourage each other to go forward in love daily. Amen
