Make It A Great Day!

Don't wait to 'have' one.

This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24

Make It A Great Day!

Just like starting our greetings by saying, “Hi” or “Hey,” we often finish them with:

“Have a great day!”

I have found that if I wait passively to have a great day, I am often left with just that: waiting for something to happen.

I'd like to make a few suggestions about being proactive with our days.

I am an early riser by design. It takes me a few hours to get my heart and mind in line with Whose I am.

I am God’s child.

My life is not my own, for I have been bought with a price.

So, I start my day by knowing this and asking Him to lead each step, thought, action, and reaction.

With that in mind, I get my eyes off of myself and onto each person I meet on and off my schedule.

EACH INTERACTION WITH ANOTHER PERSON IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE GOD’S HOPE AND LOVE.

As His ambassador, He allows me to make a difference in someone else’s life and, thus, His world.

May we both be better for meeting and sharing our gift of the present.

Ultimately, may all you meet “have” a better day because you chose to “make” it better.

Lord, Your mercies are new every morning. We choose You, Abba Father, and spend this day with You, loving others through us. Amen
