More Than Saved Someday

The Fullness Of The Life Jesus Calls Salvation
“Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” John 17:3
A Daughter In The Crowd
For twelve years, a woman had suffered with bleeding. She had spent everything seeking help and grown worse. She reached through the crowd, touched Jesus’ clothing, and was healed.
When she came trembling and told Him what happened, Jesus called her “Daughter” and sent her away in peace.
She had reached for relief and found herself welcomed.
The Whole Person
The Greek word behind “healed” here is sōzō, also translated “save.” Jesus was restoring her life that day, not merely speaking about where she would go when she died.
What does this moment in Jesus’ life reveal about the Father?
Her suffering mattered to Him, and He met her with healing and tenderness.
The Life We Get To Share
Jesus describes eternal life as knowing His Father and Himself. In John 17:26,
He prays that we would share in the Father’s love for Him and know His presence within us.
I don't want to become so focused on where we're going that we miss the Life we're already sharing with Him.
Abba's love belongs in our relationships, our recovery, and the day unfolding before us.
Beginning Today
We still long for everything to be made whole, but we don't have to wait until then to experience His love or offer it to someone else.
Jesus hasn't asked us to put life on hold until heaven. He has given us Himself, so that even here we can know our Father and help one another live loved.

What does Jesus’ tenderness reveal about Abba?
Where do I need to experience His restoring love?
Who could receive that love through me today?

Abba Father, awaken me to the Life we already share. Let Your love restore us and flow freely among us. Amen.
