Our Identity in Christ: Beloved

So, as God's own chosen people, who are holy [set apart, sanctified for His purpose] and well-beloved by God Himself, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience [which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes, with good temper] Colossians 3:12 AMP

Our Identity in Christ: Beloved

"From the moment we claim the truth of being the Beloved, we are faced with the call to become who we are." Henri Nouwen

The more I interact with other Christians, the greater I see a core understanding missing with many believers.

We are the Beloved of God. Loved just like the Father loves His Son, Jesus!

Not understanding our identity in Christ leads us to seek love in the wrong places or from the wrong sources.

Always.

When we understand that nothing, no, nothing, can separate us from the love of God that is found in Jesus Christ, we are empowered to live in freedom and allow God to love others through us as he and ourselves love us.

Ask God to reveal His love for you, so you can walk into becoming who you are and fulfill the purpose for which He has designed you and called you.

Imagine having your identity stolen. What would you need to do to prove who you are?

What do you need to do to prove who you are in Christ?

Lord, I am Your beloved. May I grow in understanding the depth of this eternal truth. Amen
