Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me. John 15:4

Live in Me
As we see in this verse, the purpose is not even 'for' us but for bearing fruit for the Vine Keeper, our Father.
If Jesus said that apart from the Father, He could do nothing, then most assuredly, we, apart from Him, would yield the same.
Nada.
But keep this in mind: The vine holds the branch.
He is holding you and me!
It is abiding by the secret of practicing the presence of God continually.
How would your life be transformed if you could constantly know God's perfect love for you intimately?
What could happen daily if you realized that your purpose isn't about you but about bearing the fruit of your union with Jesus?
What questions do you have about practicing the presence of God?
Lord, there are so many things about Your love for me. You desire for me to know intimately. Continue to speak softly so that I may lean in close to hear. Come closer that I may see. Touch the depths of my soul that I may know the fullness of Your love for me. May I become the full beneficiary of Your love and a funnel of Your love for others. Amen
