Praying Forward
Pray today for children and grandchildren.
Pray for their future.
Why?
I am grateful to realize that I am the product of God, answering the prayers of people who have prayed for me over the years.
God answers all prayers except the ones we don’t pray!
Some answers are "Yes," some "No." Others, he will answer, "Yes, but not like that" or "Not now."
Prayers do not dissipate but linger as incense before God's throne until He is ready in His perfect will to answer.
I am thankful for my grandparents, aunts, and parents who prayed for me and grateful enough to pray forward lovingly.
Who has set an example of praying for you?
Who is God calling you to pray forward for?
Lord, how wonderful You have joined us through the ages by prayers. Wow. How marvelous are the prayers of Your saints! Lead us, Holy Spirit, to pray rightly, mightily, and fervently for those You place before us. Amen
