Respond To His Love Within You

What are you waiting for?

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

What are you waiting for?

Don't take the above scripture to mean that God will give you everything you want or need for yourself; it is for His work.

He has given you everything you need to walk in what He has created you to do.

God is Everything.

And He has given you everything which is Himself.

We do have a responsibility.

Responsibility sounds like work or a burden to us.

It is not our work but a response to what Christ is doing within us.

Much like opening a valve to let water flow.

Lord Zap Me?

But we sometimes sit around waiting for God to "zap" us.

We think He must work a miracle or prove what He calls us to daily is of Himself.

We forget that He's already given us His living water and promised it would flow out of us unlimitedly.

Respond

God will fulfill all His promises, but He won't achieve our potential…that is our part.

So, the final twist is that we respond to Him through our resting!

Resting isn't the absence of work but the presence of peace.

Remember: He is the Prince of Peace

How have you been confusing God's work with your response to Him?

If asked what your purpose is, how do you answer?

Lord, we respond by denying ourselves, picking up our cross, and following You! You are our great adventure! Amen
