Unique On Purpose

Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Unique On Purpose

"New Creature" is translated from the same word as "prototype."

That means one of a kind never before existed!

Yet, we will look at others and envy how easy their walk or relationship with Jesus seems.

We think, "They get it." And we often believe this isn’t fair.

We tell ourselves, I have to try harder than they do, or I can't ever be like them.

Well, we can never be them; being them is their job.

But when we see Christlikeness in others, we can be encouraged to know that He gives Himself to us so that we can be like Him.

The fruit of the Spirit is Jesus Christ in us.

It's not our part to produce this fruit—but only to bear it and give it away.

Our "this ain't easy for me" part is a reality we'll often experience unless we surrender to Him, allowing Him to live out His life through us as He has uniquely made us.

Not looking like someone else, but looking at how He has made us look and love.

How have you been discouraged by others whose life with Christ seems to come easier to them?

How have you been encouraged by others whose life with Christ seems to come easier to them?

Lord, may we marvel at how You have made each of us unique for Your purpose! Amen
