Unity's Purpose Is Love

Let's celebrate our differences!

Beyond all these things, put on and wrap yourselves in unselfish love, which is the perfect bond of unity, for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others. Colossians 3:14

Unity's Purpose Is Love

The first thing Satan attacks when Christians come together is our unity.

Unity is not for conformity, uniformity, or appearance.

The purpose of unity is Love.

Our purpose as followers of Jesus is to love one another and to love those God places in front of us.

It makes sense why the enemy's first attack is our unity.

Unity must include diverse gifts, talents, passions, experiences, and personalities.

Through the diversity of the church, His body, we can fulfill His purpose to reach the variety of His creation.

Let's celebrate our differences, knowing God uses them to accomplish His purpose!

In what ways have you allowed your life and church experiences to cause disunity?

What steps must you take to restore unity in your relationships with other believers?

Father, You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are perfect unity! May we love each other as You do! Amen
