Where Is Your Life Found?

Living from Spirit in a Soul-Driven World

Where Is Your Life Found?

Living from Spirit in a Soul-Driven World

“For the word of God is living and active…”
— Hebrews 4:12

It penetrates to the division of soul and spirit.

That’s not about separation.

It’s about discernment.

There is a difference between living from your soul and living from your spirit.

And most of us have never been taught to notice it.

Soul or Spirit?

The soul is your mind, emotions, and will. It is where feelings rise, stories form, reactions spark. It is beautiful — but it is not ultimate.

The spirit is where faith lives. It is where the Holy Spirit communes with you. It is where eternal reality touches present experience.

Scripture says you are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

That is not future language.

That is now.

So imagine this:

You are here.
And you are there.

Your soul experiences time.
Your spirit stands in eternity.

The Kingdom is not coming from outside.
It is within you (Luke 17:21).

Where Have You Learned to Translate Life?

When something happens — conflict, disappointment, success, praise — where do you interpret it from?

From wounded emotion?
From fear?
From habit?

Or from the Spirit who knows you are secure?

Hebrews 4:12 isn’t slicing you in half. It’s revealing which voice you’re listening to.

The Word exposes whether your reactions are rooted in soul turbulence or Spirit rest.

And here’s the freedom:

“And we have ceased fighting anything or anyone.” BB

When you live from the Spirit, you stop defending your identity. You stop grasping. You stop reacting from scarcity.

Because your life is not anchored in circumstance.

It is anchored in Christ.

Renewing the Soul

Your soul is not discarded. It is being renewed (Romans 12:2).

Your spirit is already alive.

The Christian life is learning to let the Spirit lead the soul — not the other way around.

Not suppressing emotion.

Not denying reality.

But interpreting everything through the finished love of Abba.

Reflection

Where have I been living from my soul rather than my spirit?
How might eternal reality reshape the way I interpret today’s events?
What would it look like to stop fighting and start resting in who I already am in Christ?

Prayer

Abba Father, thank You that my life is hidden in Christ. Teach me to live from Your Spirit within me. Renew my soul and anchor me in the eternal reality of Your love. Amen.
