A Generous Identity

Generosity is more than something we do; it is part of our identity.

He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also graciously give us all things with him? Romans 8:32

A Generous Identity

"Giving is what we do, but Generous is who we are." Craig Groeschel

Our Abba Father, the Creator, establisher of all things and beings, is generous.

Being made in God’s image and filled with His being, our true nature is generosity.

Generosity is more than something we do; it is part of our identity.

Too often, we narrow our view of generosity to giving money, time, and talents.

God has blessed us to enlarge our vision to see further.

Generosity is more than a money thing.

He calls us to live from our generosity by giving mercy, forgiveness, help, encouragement, and kindness.

Spend time seeking our Abba Father's heart about generosity.

What are the obstacles to your generosity?

How might you have seen generosity as only an action, not your identity?

What does living from the Generosity of God look like to you?

Lord, loosen our grip on the things that keep us from believing You are enough. Reveal the fullness of Your generosity to us through Your word and Spirit. Amen
