Give Your Gratitude A Voice
Don't Wait For Another Day
“And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.” — John 12:3
Love Still Sealed
“Do not keep the alabaster box of your love and friendship sealed up until your friends are dead.” — George Childs
We can deeply appreciate someone and assume they already know.
Their kindness blesses us, their courage encourages us, or their laughter makes a difficult day lighter, yet our gratitude never quite makes it into the conversation.
While They Can Hear
Knowing we are loved is a gift we can give one another today.
A simple “I’m so grateful you’re in my life” can mean more than we realize, especially when we tell someone why.
We don’t need a special occasion to make the call or write the note. Today will do just fine!
And sometimes our appreciation is best expressed by showing up, sharing a meal, or helping with something they’ve been carrying alone.
Let The Fragrance Fill The Room
When Mary poured perfume on Jesus’ feet, its fragrance filled the house. Something precious became something others could experience.
The Love we share with Abba is meant to be enjoyed and given away, too.
His kindness can become our words, our attention, and our willingness to make time for someone.
Let’s give people the joy of knowing how much they matter while we’re still making memories together.
Reflection
Who has blessed my life without knowing how much?
What kindness have I been meaning to express?
How could my gratitude become something they experience today?
Prayer
Abba Father, let the Love You’ve poured into us become encouragement and kindness for those sharing life with us today. Amen.
