God Values You

But God clearly shows and proves His love for us by saying that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

God Values You

Both the Father and the Son placed a value on our life.

Regardless of how unlovable and far from Him, God said we were worth the cost of His Son's death to redeem us.

Jesus agreed.

We were not valuable because of anything we had done, but because of what God created, He called "good."

Remember, He redeems to restore us to His original purpose for His glory.

Yet, one of the most significant battlefields in our lives is trying to gain something we already possess.

God has established your value.

If you constantly try to prove your worth to someone (including yourself), you've already forgotten your value.

Ask God to reveal how you are trying to gain value, be valued, or prove your value.

When frustrated with people or projects, I ask myself two questions:

1) What am I trying to prove?

2) Who am I trying to prove it to?

How might the above questions change how you view your value and purpose?

Lord, may we walk in what You have already determined to be true: Your love for us! Amen
