Simple Faith

Take the first step...

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. Luke 17:5-6

Simple Faith

The issue is not how much faith you have...it’s how much of it you’re walking in.

Even if you have the smallest amount of faith of any follower of Christ, you can do greater things than the person with the most incredible faith who’s not exercising it.

Remember, the power of faith is in its object, not the holder.

Jesus is the author, perfector, and finisher of our faith.

So, faith itself is from God.

In what ways are you trying to have faith instead of trusting God for your faith?

Faith is either a gift from God or a fruit of the Spirit. How can you tell the difference?

Lord, may we walk in all You give us. Find us responding to Your gift of faith to love others as You do. Amen
