I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him, I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20 AMP
It is finished; He is not finished.
Our life starts at the cross because that is where we died with Him.
One of the easiest deceptions by the enemy is to pull us into an imaginary battle.
That battle is fighting for ground Jesus has already purchased.
That is trying to prove our value when the Father and Son have already established it.
No behavior improves or diminishes His love for us.
None.
The Son reveals the Father's love to us on the cross.
Meditate on Jesus Christ's finished work in your life.
What has already been accomplished?
Meditate on Jesus Christ's continued work in your life.
How does He continue this work?
Lord, may we not be pulled into trying to be holy, blameless, or complete because You have already accomplished this in us for Your glory and purpose. You are our life! Amen
