Welcome to the Dance!
Living in the Love of Father, Son, and Spirit.
God is not a distant King on a throne. He is a Father, Son, and Spirit in perfect, eternal relationship. Always loving. Always giving. Always one..
Theologians call it Perichoresis—a Greek word that means something like: moving around one another, or more beautifully:
"The Divine Dance."
It’s not rigid. It’s not cold. It’s not a triangle of hierarchy. It’s a circle of joy. A relationship of endless giving and receiving. Of complete unity and mutual delight.
And here’s the part that changes everything:
You’re invited in. Not to perform. Not to strive.
But to join the movement of Love Himself.
Religion says: Stand back and behave.
Jesus says: Come closer and belong.
Through Christ, you’ve been swept into the life of the Trinity. You’re not just saved from sin. You’ve been saved into communion.
You now live and move and have your being in the One Who is Love.
"On that day you will realize that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you." – John 14:20
It Is Like…
A Dance: You’re clumsy at first. But they hold you steady. You begin to move with them, not to prove anything, but because they’ve already made room for you.
A Campfire: There’s an open chair. You don’t need to impress anyone. You’re not there to perform. Just to be known, warmed, and welcomed.
A Stream: The Father is the source, the Son is the current, the Spirit is the flow. You don’t swim against it. You’re carried in it.
What This Means for Everyday Lifee
You’re not trying to earn God's love. You’re living from it.
You don't worship a God far away. You live inside His shared life.
You’re never alone. Even your solitude is filled with Someone.
You weren’t saved to perform. You were saved to participate.
Reflection
Have I been living like an outsider to God's love, or like someone welcomed in?
In what ways have I related to God more like a judge than a Father?
What would change if I believed I truly belonged in the circle of divine love?
A Prayer to Step Into the Dance
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, thank You for inviting me into Your life of love. Help me stop striving to be loved and start living as one who already is. I don’t want to stand outside anymore. I want to move with You. Let Your joy be my rhythm. Let Your love be my home. Amen.
