When Love Becomes Your Life (Part Four)
When Everything Begins To Come Together
Love is not something you achieve—it’s Someone you live from.
Stepping Back For A Moment
If you step back and look at what has been unfolding over these past few reflections, something begins to come into focus.
We started by seeing Him more clearly—Jesus as the true expression of the Father’s heart. Then we noticed why love can feel so difficult, not because we don’t want it, but because we often try to live from ourselves. And slowly, we began to see what happens when His life becomes the source we actually live from.
Not all at once, but enough to notice.
This has never been just about understanding something new. It has been about awakening to Jesus' life in you.
What Has Been Forming
As that reality begins to settle, something shifts quietly but meaningfully.
You find yourself less driven to manage everything and more able to stay present. You notice people differently. You respond with a little more patience, a little more openness, even in places that used to feel tense.
It doesn’t feel like effort in the same way it once did.
It feels like something in you has changed.
The Love That Leads
There is a simple line in Scripture that holds all of this together:
“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19
Love does not begin with you. It begins with Him. And when that love becomes more than something you’ve heard—when it becomes something you begin to see—it starts to move.
Not as something you have to produce, but as something you are now living from.
What Others Begin To Experience
And this kind of life does not stay hidden.
It shows up in the way you listen, in the way you respond, in the way you remain present when it would be easier to withdraw.
People may not have words for it, but they recognize it. There is something steady, something real, something they feel safe around.
Not because you are trying to show them something, but because they are encountering something genuine.
They are encountering Him.
What It Was Always Meant To Be
This is what it looks like when love becomes your life.
Not something you perform or maintain, but something you live from. You didn’t arrive here by becoming better. You arrived here by seeing more clearly.
And now, His life is no longer something you are reaching for. It is something being lived through you.
Love is not something you achieve—it’s Someone you live from.
Reflection
What part of this journey has felt most real to me?
Where am I seeing His life already being expressed?
What might it look like to simply stay with that?
Prayer
Abba Father, thank You that love begins with You and not with me. Help me continue to see You clearly and live from Your love in a way that is natural and real. Amen.
