Who Told You That?

The patterns of God are to fill up and build up.

“Who told you you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?” Genesis 3:11

"The patterns of God are to fill up and build up. The patterns of the enemy are to empty and tear down." Jennie Allen

Who told you that?

I love to examine our Father's questions.

Of course, He cannot ask anything He doesn't already know.

So, His questions are for us.

The Father's voice will line up with His word.

If the Father's words start with a breaking down, they will always lead to a rebuilding.

A great example is how His conviction springs from His kindness, leading to our repentance and bringing us back into fellowship with Him.

Whereas the enemy's voice tears down and leads to condemnation, a state of impotence for believers.

So, as we journey together, let's be sensitive to our Father's voice for ourselves and each other!

Consider this as a filter to ascertain if it is the Father's voice or the enemy's voice:

It isn't the Father's voice if you wouldn't repeat it to a child.

What mixtapes take up the most of your headspace?

What lifelong struggles do you have that could be rooted in believing the enemy of your soul?

How might listening to God's words about His love for you change your life?

Lord, you teach and lead us for good. May we hear your voice of love and follow You. Amen
