Who Walks With You?
When Love Becomes The Journey
"Surely I am with you always..." — Matthew 28:20
Every one of us is traveling toward something.
Sometimes it is healing. Sometimes it is reconciliation. Sometimes it is an answer we have prayed for so long that we can almost picture what life will feel like when it finally arrives.
It is only natural to keep looking toward the destination.
Hope does that.
But lately I have been discovering something beautiful.
While we look ahead, the Father is quietly revealing His love along the way.
The Gift We Didn't Expect
There are seasons that slow us down enough to notice what hurry never could.
A conversation that strengthens your heart.
A hand reaching for yours without a word.
Someone quietly carrying part of the burden simply because they love you.
None of those moments replace the answer we are hoping for.
But every one of them reveals the Father's heart.
Love has a remarkable way of meeting us long before we arrive.
The Fellowship Of Love
Jesus never promised only a destination.
He promised Himself.
And because His life is shared with us, His love begins flowing through us.
That is one of the Father's most beautiful gifts.
We discover His love in the One who walks with us, and we begin sharing that same love with the people He places beside us.
We receive encouragement when our hearts grow weary.
We become encouragement when someone else's strength begins to fade.
Love keeps moving, always received and shared.
The Treasure Along The Way
The destination still matters.
The journey still matters.
But neither one holds the greatest treasure.
The Father's greatest gift has always been His life shared with us, and His love continually revealed through the people He places along our path.
Perhaps that is why some of the holiest moments of our lives are not found only when prayers are finally answered.
They are found in the quiet fellowship of love that carries us until they are.
Because wherever the Father's love is being received and shared...
the Kingdom is already breaking in.
And wherever His heart is being revealed, you are already home.
Reflection
Where has the Father been quietly revealing His love in this season of my journey?
Who has He placed beside me as an expression of His care?
How might His love become visible through me today?
Prayer
Abba Father, thank You for sharing Your life with us through Your Son and by Your Spirit. Open my eyes to Your love in every step of this journey, and let that same love flow through me into the lives of those You place beside me. Amen.
