Seen Through His Eyes
When God’s View Becomes Ours
“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3
They All Saw The Same Thing
Twelve spies walked through the same land.
They saw the same fruit, the same fortified cities, and the same giants. Nobody was pretending the obstacles were small.
But ten returned saying, “We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes.”
Their problem was not only how they saw the giants.
It was how they saw themselves!
Which Mirror Are We Using?
The ten spies looked at themselves through the size of the opposition.
Joshua and Caleb looked at themselves through what God had already said.
Same land. Same giants. Different identity.
That still happens to us.
We can allow circumstances, failure, fear, or comparison to tell us who we are, or we can learn to see ourselves through the eyes of Abba.
Magnify The Lord
David says, “Magnify the Lord with me.”
We cannot make God bigger. He is already all in all. But we can allow His greatness, His faithfulness, and His goodness to occupy more of our vision.
The obstacle does not disappear.
It simply stops being the largest thing in the frame.
Seeing From Christ
The Good News is not that life has no giants.
It is that in Christ, giants no longer get to define us.
We are not grasshoppers trying to become brave enough for the land. We are beloved sons and daughters learning to see ourselves as Abba already sees us and to live from the Life He has already placed within us.
Perspective changes when we see God as He is, ourselves as He sees us, and our obstacles from there.

What has been shaping how I see myself lately?
Where have I been looking at myself through the size of the obstacle?
What changes when I see myself through what Abba has already spoken?
Prayer
Abba Father, teach me to see You more clearly and myself through Your eyes. Let every obstacle find its proper size in the light of Your goodness. Amen.
