The Broken Road

Looking Back
Some roads look very different from the other side.
Joseph knew that kind of road. Betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned, he lived through years that hardly looked like the pathway of God.
Yet much later, standing in a place where he could finally see more of the story, Joseph could say, “You meant to harm me, but God intended it for good.”
Not everything that happened to Joseph was good.
But Goodness was never absent.
Grace On The Road
I have roads behind me I would not choose again.
Some were shaped by circumstances beyond my control. Others were turns I took myself.
Grace meets both.
Grace does more than forgive yesterday.
It gives us Life today.
It reminds us that a wrong turn does not place us beyond the reach of Abba’s goodness.
No matter your past choices, today is a new day full of His mercy.
And Here You Are
The road may have been crooked. There may be stretches you still do not understand.
But here you are...
Breathing. Growing. Loving. Learning.
Given another day to experience the Father and share His Life with someone else.
Redemption is not God erasing the road behind us; it's discovering that His mercy has been traveling with us all along.
And somewhere along the way, even our scars can become signposts of grace for someone who thinks their own road has gone too far.
A broken road can still lead us and others into a beautiful day.

Where can I now see grace in a road I once regretted?
What part of my story still needs the light of mercy?
Who might find hope in what I have lived through?
Prayer
Abba Father, thank You that mercy meets me here. Let grace turn even my broken roads into places where Your goodness can be seen. Amen.
