When Faith Finds Its Feet

Trust Walking In Love

When Faith Finds Its Feet

Trust Walking In Love

“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” — Galatians 5:6

Faith is revealed by the love we live, not just the words we say. Mark

It is one thing to talk about faith across the table.

It is another to carry it into the room where forgiveness is costly, patience is thin, and love has a face.

We believe the truth and want to trust Abba.

Then a real person, or old wound, or fear stands in front of us, and faith is invited to leave our lips and walk.

When Words Stay Safe

Words can be sincere and still remain protected.

I can speak of mercy until someone needs mercy from me. I can say I trust the Father until a situation asks me to release control. I can talk about love until love asks me to listen.

James says, “I will show you my faith by my deeds.”

He is not placing us under performance. He is showing us the movement of living trust.

Faith With Skin On

Paul brings faith home to love.

Faith rests in Abba’s heart, and love carries that trust into ordinary places. A guarded heart softens. A hard conversation becomes honest without becoming cruel.

This is not faith trying to impress God.

This is the life of Christ within us becoming love through us. (read that again, please)

The Love Faith Becomes

Abba is not looking for a performance.

He is living within us, forming trust that can walk.

Sometimes love looks like a meal, an apology, a boundary, a prayer, or a hand on a shoulder.

Faith is His life in us becoming love for the world around us.

Reflection

Where has faith stayed mostly in my words?

Who might Abba be inviting me to love today?

What would trust look like if it walked through me?

Prayer

Abba Father, let the faith You have awakened in me become love through me. Help me trust Your life within me and let Your love move through my ordinary day. Amen.
